OnePlus is now officially teasing the upcoming OnePlus 5T through its social media channels such as Twitter and Weibo. The company has already confirmed the name of the device and also confirmed that OnePlus 5T will feature the 3.5mm Audio jack. The company is yet to announce the official launch date, though rumours indicate a November 16 launch.
Today, the company has just teased the back panel of the OnePlus 5T clearly showing the design of the rear. The image shared by OnePlus twitter handle reveals the full rear panel and it looks similar to the existing OnePlus 5, but if you look closely you will find some basic differences. The dual camera module is at the same place but the bump appears to be less and the metallic ring around the dual camera module is no more there in OnePlus 5T. Also, the Antenna lines appear to have shifted towards the top and bottom compared to previous design.
OnePlus 5T is rumoured to feature a 6.0 inch 18:9 display with a resolution of 1080 x 2160 i.e. FHD+ display, powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor along with 8GB of RAM. It comes with 128GB of internal storage and runs on Android 8.0 (Oreo) based operating system with Oxygen OS on top.
In terms of camera, it is rumoured to feature 20MP camera sensors both at front and rear, while the existing OnePlus 5 front camera is a 16 MP shooter. Thanks to the 18:9 display, the fingerprint sensor is expected to be placed on the rear panel and there won’t be any home button at front. We have already the top half of front display with minimum bezels at sides.
