OnePlus is not in a mood to let the leaksters take centre stage when it comes to the official announcement of its next generation of flagship device i.e. OnePlus 6 which will be the successor of OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 5T. OnePlus has just released an official teaser which reveals some of the important details of the upcoming flagship OnePlus 6 including the confirmation of the name.
The official teaser reveals that OnePlus 6 will be powered by the latest SOC chip from Qualcomm i.e. Snapdragon 845 along with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The official teaser doesn’t reveal any other information about the device such as the display size or type or the battery capacity or the camera details or the design, but we expect it to follow Oppo R15 design just as it did the design language of OnePlus 5 and 5T. OnePlus CEO Pete Lau has already confirmed that the lagship device is coming with a notch display similar to iPhone X and notches are not going anywhere soon.
Earlier rumors indicated a 6GB variant of the device too along with the 8GB variant, powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 with storage space of 256GB. The rumors alos indicate a main rear dual camera module with 20MP + 16MP camera sensor along with a 6.2 inch fullview display. OnePlus 6 is expected to support full-screen gestures with the ability to hide the navigation bar.
Another teaser from the company twitter account talks about speed with OnePlus 6 which obviously is refrring to Snapdragon 845 and 8GB of RAM.
