OnePlus 5 was unveiled just a few months back and we are still far away from the successor of OnePlus 5 which probably may be named as OnePlus 6, yet it doesn’t stop the rumour mills to start churning out leaks. An alleged OnePlus 6 render has surfaced on the web which shows the rear panel of the upcoming flagship device and we can see a dual camera module aligned vertically on the left side of the rear panel. OnePlus branding is visible at its usual place just a bit above the middle of the rear panel.
If you look closely, the alleged OnePlus 6 render indicates a slimmer or less wide device compared to OnePlus 5 which suggests that OnePlus 6 may be using displays similar to Galaxy S8 or Note 8 or LG G6 with a greater screen to body ratio resulting in taller displays as we have seen in these flagship devices. There are no Antenna lines visible on the rear and both the sides are curved at the end.
[Update: It appears to be some part of a concept, so it’s not a render.]
Unfortunately, we do not have anything more except this rear panel image and hence we have no clue on what OnePlus 6 may offer in terms of hardware specifications on other features.
Coming to existing OnePlus 5, it features a 5.5-inch 1080p Full HD Optic AMOLED display, powered by 2.45 GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 835 processor along with 6 GB / 8 GB of RAM. It comes with 64 GB / 128 GB of RAM and runs on Android 7.0 Nougat based Oxygen OS operating system. In terms of camera, it features dual camera setup with 20 MP (telephoto) Sony IMX 350 + 16 MP (Wide-angle) Sony IMX 398 sensors. On the front, it comes with 16 MP Sony IMX 371 camera sensor for selfies. It is backed by a 3300 mAh battery along with support for Dash Charge (5V 4A).
As we are still far away from the official launch, take this leak with a whole fist of salt. Stay tuned at Androidpure and we will keep you updated.
