Just two days ago we reported about an alleged listing of OnePlus 6T certification at Russian ECC (Eurasian Economic Commission) portal. It turns out the listing is FAKE and there is no such listing that exists on ECC (Eurasian Economic Commission). The anomaly was pointed out by @ZyadAtef and here are the details that confirm that the OnePlus 6T listing with Model No A6013 is FAKE.
The earlier report indicated that OnePlus 6T is listed on ECC (Eurasian Economic Commission) with an identifier No RU0000038999, but if you look at the ECC site, you will find a different listing for the identifier No RU0000038999. We have put here both the Fake and Original listings that clearly demonstrates that it is FAKE.
As you can see the identifier RU0000038999 is allocated to a different product “Personal electronic computers: tablets, tablets, transformers, brand “GINZZU”, model: GT-7880, and more–” dated 20.08.2018 which is different date and not the OnePlus 6T with Model No 6013. It appears that someone photoshopped/modified the screenshot to make it appear as OnePlus 6T.
Just to add some more details, here is the list of all the OnePlus Devices that are certified by ECC (Eurasian Economic Commission) till date, which obviously doesn’t include OnePlus 6T with Model Number A6013.
Even though we expect OnePlus 6T to start appearing on certification sites, yet this listing wasn’t the original one. We expect that the successor of OnePlus 6 to be officially unveiled in next 2-3 months, we still need to wait for the official confirmation for the same. Stay tuned at Androidpure and we will keep you updated.
