A few official looking OnePlus 6T press renders, have been leaked ahead of the device’s launch. And we have to admit, the phone does look good.
The OnePlus 6T has a water-drop notch in the display, which houses the selfie camera. The earpiece seems to be located on the top of the device’s frame, just above the front camera.
The chin of the device is similar to the OnePlus 6’s, or perhaps slightly thinner. The OnePlus 6T does follow the design pattern of its predecessor, in terms of the buttons layout. The alert slider and the power button are on the right edge of the frame, while the volume rocker keys are on the opposite edge.
The OnePlus 6T press renders confirm that the phone has dual rear cameras, something which we reported before others. The lenses are placed vertically, with a Dual LED Flash module placed just below the cameras. There is a glossy looking 1+ logo on the back panel which complements the back panel rather well.
The bottom frame pictured in the OnePlus 6T press renders reveal dual speaker grilles on either side of a USB Type-C port. There are antenna lines placed discreetly on the bottom frame. The display is reportedly 6.41 inches OLED panel, which supports a Full HD+ screen resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels. The device has an in-display fingerprint scanner, and is powered by a Qualcmm Snapdragon 845 processor.
The phone is backed by a 3,700 mAh battery, which is about 400mAh higher than the OnePlus 6, an excuse which the company used to ditch the headphone jack on the OnePlus 6T. The phone will be available in Midnight Black and Mirror Black colour options.
So, do the aesthetics of the phone look good enough to buy the device, or will the absence of the 3.5mm audio jack be reason enough to overlook the OnePlus 6T?
