Leaked renders of the OnePlus 9 5G and OnePlus 9 Pro 5G have appeared online ahead of the official announcement. The images reveal the complete design of the phone.
The OnePlus 9 Pro 5G has a curved display, with a punch-hole selfie camera in the top left corner of the screen. The panel is an AMOLED display which is 6.5-inches in size. In contrast, the non-pro version has a flat display. Both versions are said to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 5G processor.
Moving to the back panel, the OnePlus 9 5G series has a vertical camera bump. The company has partnered with Swedish camera maker, Hasselblad, to optimize the sensors. Speaking of which, the two main cameras on the device are a Sony IMX 766 and a Sony IMX 789 sensor with 50MP and 48MP resolution support respectively. There is a third-sensor and LED Flash on both variants of the phone.
The OnePlus 9 Pro 5G variant has two additional sensors, one of which seems to be a laser autofocus module. The devices retain the alert slider switch for notification control.
WinFuture notes that while the OnePlus 9 Pro 5G has antenna bands on the side, the regular version doesn’t. This leads to speculate whether the OnePlus 9 5G has a non-metallic frame, in other words, a plastic frame.
