It appears that another Chinese smartphone manufacturer, wants to enter the Indian market.
OnePlus has announced, that they will be launching the OnePlus One, in the Country soon.
The announcement came via the OnePlus forums, where an administrator said that a lot of Indians are interested in the device, despite the lack of availablity of the phone in the Country. So they are in the process of launching the device here, officially.
But it is not going to be easy for them, the company’s Invite-process to buy the phone, has been drawing flak from buyers around the World. They should take a leaf out of Xiaomi‘s (Mi India) book, whose registration system has left potential buyers frustrated, due to the unavailability of the phones due to low stocks.
OnePlus is also rumoured to be refusing to replace devices, which have a Yellow Band (Tint) on the screen. Clearly, they need to earn a good reputation before taking such a huge step, like launching the device in India.
