OnePlus is on a roll. Earlier today, they announced an Open Sale for the One in India, which is scheduled for tomorrow.
And now the Open Sale system goes global, except it is not a time limited one.
The Global OnePlus One will be available without invites every Tuesday, the company announced in a blog post.
And the invite system isn’t going anywhere, you will still require an invite to buy the phone on the other 6 days. The good news is you will get an invite even if you buy the phone on a Tuesday, so you can share it with a friend or one of your loved ones.
Both variants of the phone, i.e the 16GB Silk White and the 64GB Sandstone Black will be up for grabs during the open sale. The sale will run for 24 hours, starting at 8 am London time (midnight in Los Angeles; 4 pm in Hong Kong).
However none of this applies to the OnePlus One sold in India and Indonesia, and fans of the phone will still require a specific invite for either Country.
