A new OnePlus device has been spotted on a benchmarking website.
The original OnePlus One has the model number A1001.
OnePlus Two spotted on Geekbench:
The device leaked at Geekbench, carries the name and model number OnePlus ONE A2001. So, the leaked device is most probably its successor, the OnePlus Two. The benchmark reveals that the device’s chipset is a MSM8994 and the processor is a Qualcomm octa-core processor clocked at 1.55GHz.
From this, we can say that the OnePlus Two runs on a 64-bit octa-core 1.55GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor. It has 3GB of RAM, and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop. The OnePlus Two scored 1256 points in Single-Core and 4093 in Multi-Core benchmark tests.
We do not think that the leaked device is the OnePlus Lite, as Bloomberg reported that the Lite version, will be launched only by the end of the year. The OnePlus Two on the other hand is set for release in the 2nd Quarter of 2015, which is April-June.
Recently, OnePlus CEO, Liu Zuohu, asked fans on Weibo, about a reasonable price for a Snapdragon 810 device, and later revealed that 2499 Yuan could be an ideal price (about $400 or Rs. 25,000). It is possible he was talking about the OnePlus Two.
OnePlus is prepping to launch a new device on May 28th, could it be the OnePlus Two?
