OnePlus has officially launched its newest device, the OnePlus X in India.
The phone flaunts a 5-inch full-HD (1080p) Amoled display, and runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.
The OnePlus X is powered by a quad-core 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor with 3GB RAM. The phone has just 16GB of internal storage, but has support for up to 128GB of expandable memory via microSD cards. The phone sports a 13 megapixel rear camera with an f/2.2 aperture, LED flash,PDAF (Phase detection AutoFocus). The selfie lens on the phone is an 8 megapixel front camera.
The OnePlus X comes with a physical Alert Slider button which allows you to switch between three modes: Silent, Priority Mode, or All notifications. The OnePlus X is backed by a 2525 mAh battery. The phone measures at. The Ceramic variant weighs at 160g and the Onyx variant weighs 138g. Apart from Dual Sim, the phone supports 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, FM radio (OnePlus Radio app), and Micro-USB.
The OnePlus X has been priced at Rs. 16,999 for the Onyx variant, while the Ceramic variant will retail for Rs. 22,999.
The phone will have 5 different cases available: Rosewood, Black Apricot, Bamboo, Karbon and Sandstone.
The OnePlus X will be sold exclusively through Amazon India, through the dreaded invite system. The Onyx variant will be available from November 5th, and the Ceramic variant will be sold from November 24th.
