Along with the launch of Oppo Find 7, Oppo also announced another version of the smartphone i.e Oppo Find 7a. The smartphone was initially launched in China in March this year and is almost similar to Find 7 but varying in just some of the specifications and the price. Oppo Find 7a is priced at Rs. 31,990 which is seven thousand less than Find 7 and will be available for sale in India in early July 2014.
In terms of display, it comes with a 5.5-inch full-HD IPS display (instead of Quad HD display) with a resolution of 1080×1920 pixels and pixel density of 403ppi (instead of 538 ppi). It is powered by a 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 (instead 2.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 Quad Core) supported by 2GB of RAM (instead of 3GB RAM). In terms of storage, it comes with 16GB inbuilt storage with microSD card support expandable up to 128GB via microSD card.
In terms of operating system, it runs ColorOS 1.2 based on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean.
It comes with same cameras as that of Oppo Find 7 i.e a 13-megapixel rear camera with Sony Exmor IMX214 BSI sensor and 5-megapixel 80 degree wide angle front camera. It packs a 2800mAh battery (instead of 3000 mAh) with Rapid Charge technology.
