Oppo has launched two midrange smartphones, called the OPPO Neo 5 2015 and OPPO Neo5s.
The phones run on Android 4.4.2 KitKat with OPPO’s ColorOS v2.0.1.
Both phones flaunt 4.5-inch Displays which support a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels, at a pixel density of 218 PPI.
Only the Neo 5s supports LTE network connectivity, and it is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 chipset, with a 1.2GHz quad-core processor and an Adreno 306 GPU.
The OPPO Neo 5 is powered by a MediaTek MT6582 chipset, with a 1.3GHz quad-core processor and a dual-core Mali-400 MPU for graphics.
Both devices have 1GB RAM, 8GB of internal storage. The devices do come with a microSD card slot, with the Neo 5 supporting up to 32GB expandable memory, whilt the Neo 5s supports up 128GB. The phones have an 8 Megapixel rear camera with F/2.2 aperture, LED Flash, while the front camera is a 2 Megapixel lens with a F/2.8 aperture.
The Neo 5 and Neo5s are packed with a 2,000mAh battery. The phones sport a double-layer metallic structure, designed to dissipate heat. The back cover is a laminated reflective material.
The OPPO Neo 5 and Neo5s will come in two colours: Sapphire Blue and Crystal White.
