Oppo R9 is scheduled to launch on March 17 and Oppo is still teasing the device prior to the launch. Oppo R9 is now listed on the Chinese certification site TENAA and now we know most of the hardware specification details. TENAA listing reveals that Oppo R9 sports a 5.5 inch full HD (1080p) OLED display and is powered by an 1.95 GHz Octa-core CPU with 4 GB of RAM.
It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system and comes with 32 GB of internal ROM / storage along with support for expandable storage via microsd card up to 128 GB,
Oppo R9 listing reveals 16 MP main rear camera with LED flash and same capacity front camera i.e. the even the front camera is 16 MP camera which makes it a great selfie camera & perhaps the first smartphone to come with 16 MP front camera.
Oppo R9 dimensions are listed as 151.8 × 74.3 × 6.5(mm) which means it is just 6.5 mm thick which is quite sleek and weighs 145 grams only.
The listing also reveals the two colors Gold and Silver in which it will be available.
