Oppo R9 is scheduled to launch on March 17 and now Oppo R9 plus is also listed on the Chinese certification site TENAA in addition to Oppo R9 and most of the hardware specifications. TENAA listing reveals that Oppo R9 plus sports a 6 inch full HD (1080p) AMOLED display and is powered by an 1.8 GHz Octa-core CPU with 4 GB of RAM.
It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system and comes with 64 GB of internal ROM / storage along with support for expandable storage via microsd card up to 128 GB.
Oppo R9 plus listing reveals 16 MP main rear camera with LED flash and same capacity front camera i.e. the even the front camera is 16 MP camera which makes it a great selfie camera & perhaps the first smartphone to come with 16 MP front camera.
Oppo R9 plus dimensions are listed as 163 × 80.8 × 7.4 (mm) which means it is 7.4 mm thick and weighs 185 grams. The thickness and weight of the device points to a bigger battery compared to Oppo R9.
The listing also reveals the two colors Gold and Rose Gold in which it will be available.
