Just few hours back we reported the leak of alleged Renders of Oppo R9S along with some sneak into its technical specifications such as battery Size, RAM and internal storage. Yet, we have no clue on date of Oppo R9S launch even though earlier rumors had pointed to August 24 launch which didn’t happen. Now a new rumor has surfaced online [Via Weibo, (deleted)] which points to a launch date of October 19 which is just two weeks away.
The screenshot of the rumor (reproduced above) says that Oppo R9S will be released on October 19. It also talks about the possible technical specifications of the smartphone i.e. it is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage. It features a 16 MP camera with f/1.7 aperture and is backed by a 3010 mAh battery along with support for VOOC flash charge. These specifications match with the earlier leak that we reported.
Despite the leak, we need to wait for some official confirmation or teaser or Invite, unless that happens we can’t be sure. Also, take this rumor with pinch of salt. Stay tuned at Androidpure and we will keep you updated.
