Oppo is about to launch a new lineup of phones. That’s what a teaser from the company’s Vice President, Brian Shen says.
And what’s it gonna be called? The Oppo Reno series.
According to his post, the series will be launched on April 10th in China. We recently reported that Shen has been posting frequently about an upcoming device.
This is very likely the first Reno series phone and it is a flagship device. To recap, the upcoming phone was teased to be equipped 10x optical zoom. The Reno phone will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor, and features a 4065 mAh battery. It will retain a 3.5mm headphone jack while still sporting a USB Type-C port. Oppo even has a page on its website for the upcoming Reno phone’s launch.
It remains unclear whether the Oppo Reno series will be a separate brand, or just a line of devices like the Find or R series.
Oppo’s parent company, BBK Electronics already has 4 phone brands under its banner, which includes OPPO, Vivo, OnePlus, and Realme. Will Reno be the fifth? Is the Reno series, Oppo’s answer to Xiaomi’s Poco? Only time can tell the answer.
