OnePlus has released the OxygenOS 12 F.12 Update for OnePlus Nord. The software update brings several fixes to the original Nord phone.

The OxygenOS 12 F.12 Update for OnePlus Nord fixes a number of bugs including sound which was playing abnormally, OK Google not triggering with voice command, Camera app crashing, Safe Mode popup being displayed in some scenarios, and an incorrect charging icon.
The firmware introduces a Smart Battery Engine, to help improve the battery life using smart algorithms and biomimetic self-restoration technology.
The OxygenOS 12 F.122 firmware brings new desktop icons with improved textures, a new Dark Mode with three adjustable levels, and a new Shelf with different style options for Cards for easier reading. You can now search for content on your phone such as apps, media, Settings from the OnePlus Scout in the Shelf.
The update adds Work Life Balance that alllows users to switch between Work and Life mode from the quick settings panel. It can also be set up for automatic mode switching based on location, Wi-Fi networks, time, etc. The Gallery app has new gestures for switching between layouts, and crops the thumbnail of images based on the content.
Canvas AOD adds new styles of lines and colors for customizing the lockscreen. It includes multiple brushes and strokes and lets you adjust the colors. The Camera app has an improved software algorithm and face recognition for identifying the features and skin tones more accurately.
The OnePlus Nord now supports HyperBoost end-to-end frame rate stabilizer for games. The Voice effect preview option to allow you to record your voice effect or check your voice effect in real-time.

OnePlus is seeding the OTA update in batches, so it will take a few days to reach all users. If you can’t wait for it, try checking for updates manually from the Settings app.
