OnePlus X users, rejoice! The Chinese OEM is finally rolling out OxygenOS 3.1.0 for the phone, which updates the OnePlus X to Android 6.0.1 Marhsmallow, and this means you can now set permissions for apps on your phone.
The update also adds two new apps called the OnePlus Music Player and OnePlus Gallery, and also includes the August security patch from Google.
Other important additions in the OxygenOS 3.1.0 update includes new icon packs for the launcher, a new wallpaper picker and Google search bar UI customization.
The OnePlus Shelf now allows to reaarange or delete boards by long pressing them. The Alert Slider also has some new customization options.
OnePlus says that this is a community build, and has a few bugs including mobile network stability and compatibility with third party apps. The company also says that the download link for the community built update will only be available for a limited amount of time. So, head to the announcement page on the official OnePlus forums for the download link and instructions for flashing the update manually.
