A couple of weeks ago, the Nothing Phone 1 was updated to support Jio 5G. Now, OnePlus is rolling out the OxygenOS Jio 5G Update for the OnePlus Nord and Nord CE.

The update enables support for Reliance Jio 5G mobile networks on both phones. The OTA package is shipping with the October Android Security Patch from Google.
The OxygenOS Jio 5G Update for the OnePlus Nord CE is rolling out with the firmware version EB2101_11.C.08, it’s being refered to as the OxygenOS 12 C.08 update. The firmware number for the update for OnePlus Nord is AC2001_11.F.16, it’s called the OxygenOS F.16 update.
Since the software adds support for a local mobile network, the OxygenOS Jio 5G Update is only available for users in India.
The change log for the updates also mentions that the company has optimized the stability of the system, and the fluidity of the performance on both phones.
The Chinese OEM also said that the update is being rolled out to users incrementally, i.e., in batches. So it may take a few days before it becomes available for all users.
OnePlus has updated most of its phones to support Jio 5G in India. The OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite was updated to Oxygen OS 12 A.13 with the firmware version CPH2381_11.A.13. Similarly, the OxygenOS 12 A.10 update for the OnePlus 10R (CPH2423_11.A.10, the OxygenOS C.21 update for the OnePlus 10 Pro (NE2211_11.C.21), the OxygenOS 12 C.66 update for OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro (LE2111_11.C.66 and LE2121_11.C.66), and the OxygenOS 12 C.36 update for OnePlus 9R (LE2101_11.C.36) were all released with support for the 5G network protocol.
