Panasonic has launched a new mid ranged smartphone, called the Eluga Switch, in India.
The phone flaunts a 5.5.-inch Full HD IPS Display which is made with One Glass Solution, and is protected by an Asahi Dragon Trail Glass with Oleophobic Coating to prevent fingerprints.
The phablet runs on Andorid 5.0 Lollipop, and supports reversible UI, which orients the display to 360° when the screen is rotated, thus allowing the user to make calls or use the device, even when it’s upside down. The display also supports double tap to wake, while the OS offers a feature called DJ Mix.
The phone is powered by a 1.5GHz Octa Core Snapdragon 615 Processor, coupled with 2GB of RAM. It has 32GB of onboard storage. The Panasonic Eluga Switch sports a 13 megapixel rear camera, and an 8 megapixel front camera.
The device also comes with JBL Powered 1.2W Dual Front Speakers with Hi-Fi Sound & 3D audio(ARKAMYS), and supports NFC, Android Beam, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.1, A-GPS, FM Radio with RDS, as well USB OTG (USB On-The-Go).
The Panasonic Eluga Switch is a 4G/LTE (Band 1/3/7/8/20) enabled device. The phone has a unibody design with a metallic frame and measures at 152.7×75.14×7.4 mm and weighs just 141 gm, and is backed by a 2,910 mAh battery.
The Panasonic Eluga Switch has been priced at Rs.19,990 in India, and will be available in Gun Metal Grey colour.
