PlayerPro Music Player just received an update which brings a few bug fixes and better support for wired and bluetooth headsets.
PlayerPro is possibly the best competitor for the more popular Poweramp, but it lacked a few basic features, until this update.
In case you haven’t heard of PlayerPro, it is a music and video player with tons of skibs,a DSP manager, and cool widgets. The UI is extremely good and the app also supports status bar controls in devecies running ICS or above.
Let’s take a look at the new features in this update:
Option to auto-start playback when a wired headset is plugged in
Option to auto-start playback when a bluetooth headset/A2DP device is connected
musiXmatch support/integration
Option to pause between songs: useful for professionals like musicians and teachers
Increased the sharpness of the launcher icon on high resolution screens
Updated translations
A few other bug fixes
Auto-resume playback isn’t something new in audio players, but it is always good when a great music app includes this. Better late than never, eh!
Here is a screenshot which shows you the new status bar icon. And I really love the status bar controls, especially the previous track button which Poweramp lacks.
You can try out the 10 day trial of PlayerPro from Google Play before deciding to buy the full version. Hit the widgets below to get to the Play Store pages for the respective versions.
