The Poco F1 MIUI 10.3.8.0 update is rolling out to users, and it includes the September Security Patch. The update had originally been released a week ago, but then stopped.
Xiaomi’s Alvin Tse, who is the head of Pocophone global, has announced that the OTA will roll out to all users soon. The official change-log only mentions the Security Update information, but it’s not the only thing that it brings.

Some users have mentioned that it adds support for Digital Wellbeing. But there is one important fix that the update brings. According to feedback from Twitter users who have installed the update on their phone, the new firmware fixes touch screen issues which have plagued the phone in the past.
In case you missed it, Xiaomi had recalled a few devices to fix the ghost touch problem, and the company seems to have done a good job. The Poco F1 MIUI 10.3.8.0 update weighs about 158MB to download.

Tse has confirmed that MIUI 11 for Poco F1 is set to arrive. Though he didn’t mention a time frame for this, it is re-assuring. Many users had questioned why the Poco F1 had been missing in the MIUI 11 Update list of eligible phones.
