Poco India has begun teasing a new phone. And the sign points to the Poco F2 launch. This isn’t the Poco F2 Pro, but rather expected to be a mid-range device.
The company shared a video on Twitter about its history in India. At the very end of the Poco F2 launch teaser, the brand says thanks to its fans, and the media briefly says “Thank you for F2”.
Unfortunately, that is all we know for now. A purported specs sheet leaked by a Telegram group suggests that the Poco F2 will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G processor, and has an AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone is backed by a 4250 mAh battery, and sports quad cameras. Additionally, the device will reportedly support NFC. The rumour claims that the Poco F2 is codenamed Courbet and has the model number K9A.
That sounds awfully similar to the Poco X3, which is a Snapdragon 732G device, has quad cameras and an LCD display with 120Hz refresh rate. So, is the Poco F2 just an upgraded version of the Poco X3?
We don’t have an official word on the Poco F2 launch date yet. But we’ll keep an eye out for leaks and update you as and when we have more information.
