Poco has announced its 5th phone of 2021, the Poco M4 Pro 5G, in Europe The device is a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 11, that was recently launched in China.
The M4 Pro 5G’s display is 6.6-inches in size, and is a Full HD+ LCD panel which supports a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels. The screen supports DCI-P3 colour gamut, and a 90Hz refresh rate with Dynamic Switch that can automatically switch between 50Hz/60Hz/90Hz, 20:9 aspect Ratio, 240Hz touch sampling rate.
The device runs on MIUI 12.5 based on Android 11, and is powered by a 2.4GHz MediaTek Dimensity 810 octa-core processor built on a 6nm process. The graphics are handled by a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. Poco claims that the M4 Pro 5G scored 394,094 points on AnTuTu Benchmark. The handset will be available in 4GB/6GB LPDDR4X RAM variants, and supports Dynamic RAM expansion which gives you a total of 5GB/8GB RAM respectively.
The Poco M4 Pro 5G has 128GB/256GB of UFS 2.2 storage, and supports up to 1TB of additional storage via a microSD card that is part of a hybrid Dual SIM tray. The phone supports Dual 5G connectivity, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac Dual Band 2.4/5GHz, Bluetooth 5.1. Poco has packed a 5000mAh Battery, that charges over a USB Type-C port, and supports 33W fast charging (MMT charging technology), which allows the phone to be charged to 100% charge in 59 minutes.
The dual camera set up on the rear comprises a 50MP primary sensor, and an 8MP ultra-wide angle lens, with an LED Flash. The other two lenses on the rear are for decorative purposes. The selfie lens on the screen is a 16MP front camera. The Poco M4 Pro 5G has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The phone has Stereo speakers, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Poco M4 Pro 5G Price
Poco has priced the M4 Pro 5G starting at 229 Euros for the 4GB/64GB version, while the 6GB/128GB model costs 249 Euros. The company is offering an early bird discount of 30 Euros for both variants, which brings the price of the 4GB/64GB phone to 199 Euros, and the 6GB/128GB model to 219 Euros. The device will be available in three colours: Power Black, Cool Blue and Poco Yellow. There is no word yet, whether the phone will be launched in India.
As for the Poco F3 which the brand teased was coming back, the flagship phone is available in a new colour: Moonlight Silver. The 8GB/256GB version will retail for 329 Euros, while the 6GB/128GB model will go on sale at 299 Euros on Black Friday.
