Prisma, the photo painter app which became a runaway hit on iOS, is now officially available for Android devices. A public beta of the app was announced recently, for which you had to sign up using your email address, but it appears the app is so popular, that the developers decided to push the official one on to Google Play directly.
In case you aren’t aware what Prisma is, here is a brief description. It is an app which allows you to choose or take a new photo, and add various preset filters to it. This makes an otherwise ordinary photo, into spectacular looking works of art.
There are a plethora of filters to choose from, and doing so will cause the app to generate the artwork for the same. It does take quite a few seconds to generate the image, but the result makes it worth the wait.
Oh, and if you wish to disable the Prisma watermark from the bottom right corner of the images, simply head to Prisma’s settings, and toggle the “Add Watermark” option to off.
