Prisma, the popular photo styling app, which was released for Android in July, now has a very important feature, the ability to work offline, without an internet connection. But there is a small catch. The offline mode only works on devices which are running on Android 5.0 Lollipop and above.
The change log of Prisma version 1.1.47, exclusively mentions the above, while the Play Store listing says that the app works on devices with Android 4.1+.
That shouldn’t be a problem for most users, but in case you still have a phone running on KitKat, you will need to connect to the internet, to use Prisma. For those on Android 5.0+, you can use the app with its set of pre-loaded styles aka filters, offline. Should you want to add new styles, you will need to connect to the internet, to download them, and then you can continue to use it offline.
Download Prisma from the Google Play Store.
