The Realme 1 was only launched a while back, but Oppo’s earlier subsidiary company is planning to launch an upgrade over existing device. As you may have heard, Realme is now a seperate entity from Oppo. This is the Realme 2 leaked press render, which was originally posted on the official website, ahead of its launch.
How do we know this is the Realme 2 and not some other name like the Realme Note? Well, the company did officially confirm on Twitter, that the Realme 2 will be released soon.
Back to the The Realme 2 leaked photo, it clearly shows that the device sports a Notch display design. The Realme 2 leaked photo also shows dual cameras on the back panel, along with an LED Flash.
There is a fingerprint scanner on the back of the device, something which wasn’t on the Realme 1. This along with the Notch display design suggests the Realme 2 could be a slightly expensive phone than its predecessor.
The diamond pattern on the back panel of the Realme 2 appears to be similar to that of the Realme 1, and if so it could also have a glass back.
GSMArena observes that the Realme 2 leaked photo looks similar to that of Oppo F7 and F9, and that it could have the same technical specifications. So, it won’t be surprising if the Realme 2 has a 6.2-inch Full HD+ (2280 x 1080 pixels) display and is powered by a MediaTek MT6771 Helio P60 processor. The dual rear cameras could be a combination of 16MP and 2MP lenses.
We will know for sure if these are accurate, when the Realme 2 is officially launched. There is no launch date yet, but considering that the leaked photo came from the official website, we think the announcement might be on the horizon.
