More Realme 5 Pro specs have been revealed ahead of the device’s launch this month. Here’s what we know about the phone so far.
Yesterday, we reported that a Realme 5 teaser page has appeared on Flipkart, which revealed some of the device’s camera specs. The Pro variant is expected to use the same quad camera setup, with a primary lens, an ultra-wide lens, a super-macro lens and a depth sensor camera.
The Ultra-Wide-angle lens has a 119° field-of-view for capturing more of the scene. The depth sensor camera is for Portrait shots and the Super Macro lens can use 4cm focal length for pictures.
Now, we expected the phone to use a 64MP lens, but a tweet from Realme’s CEO, Madhav Sheth, followed by a tweet from the company’s official account revealed a 48MP sensor with a Sony IMX 586 sensor. So that’s the primary lens on the Realme 5 Pro.
Realme 5 Pro Specs (unconfirmed)
According to a leak by Rudhra Nandu, the Realme 5 Pro specs consist of an AMOLED display. The screen will feature a water-drop notch to house the selfie camera, and be equipped with an In-display fingerprint scanner. The phone will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 processor.
Since it appears that the Realme 5 and the Realme 5 Pro won’t be using the Samsung ISOCELL GW1 64MP camera sensor, there is only one other option, the Realme X2. The company had teased the device in a press render and is expected to be launched before Diwali.
Meanwhile, we only have to wait a week more to see whether these Realme 5 Pro specs are accurate, and if it redefines the over-saturated mid-range market.
