A day after Xiaomi said it would be among the first companies to use the new Samsung ISOCELL GW1 sensor in its phones, Realme has done the same. In fact, the OPPO sub-brand even showed off a few camera samples.
And as part of the event Realme also teased a few phones. You can see 3 sets of quad cameras in the picture. One of these says 5, and another says 5 Pro. These are obvious hints for the Realme 5 and Realme 5 Pro respectively.
But what is the third phone? As if to clarify that very question, Realme posted an image which teases the Realme 5, Realme 5 Pro and Realme X2. All three phones look identical in the picture, so it’s too early to comment about the design just yet.
The company says that its upcoming device will be the best camera phone in the segment. It also went on to compare the resolution of the Realme 64MP camera phone with the Redmi K20 Pro.
Since the comparison was made against a Snapdragon 855 phone instead of the Redmi K20 Snapdragon 710 variant, does that mean the Realme X2 will be a flagship device? We can’t say that for now, but the hints do point that way.
Here are some camera samples shot using the Realme 64MP camera
