A new update is rolling out to the Realme 6 Pro and Realme X2. It brings a handful of fixes to the phones along with the March Android Security Patch.
What’s new in the Realme 6 Pro update
There is a new mail app available in realme UI. Problems with the splash screen at the lowest brightness, and third party apps not supporting HD mode have been fixed.
The update also resolves an issue with the dialer app restarting the phone when the person on the other end hangs up the call. Another issue where third party apps couldn’t save recordings before enabling the camera has been patched.
Zooming in to the maximum level in the Camera app’s video mode no longer produces a blurry screen. Headset playback no longer has the unilateral silence issue when playing voice audio.
The version number of the Realme 6 Pro Update is RMX2061_11_A.11.
What’s new in the Realme X2 update
The update increases the volume output of the phone. The version number of the Realme X2 update is RMX1992EX_11_C.04. The release notes shared by a user on the community, reveal that the battery percentage displayed when charging the phone has been optimized.
The Realme X2 update brings fixes for third party apps freezing, splash screen issues. The power button should now invoke the Google Assistant when you press and hold the key for 5 seconds. An issue related to the Wi-Fi switch not working has also been resolved.
The Realme 6 Pro update is available on the support portal, and weighs about 3.43GB to download.
The support portal does not have the current update for the Realme X2 yet, but keep an eye on the page for the latest version to be made available.
