Earlier today, we reported that Xiaomi will be using the Samsung ISOCELL GW1 64MP camera on its next Redmi phone. But, it may be beaten to the punch by a rival.
Madhav Sheth, the CEO of Realme has revealed that the company will bring the world’s first hands-on experience of a 64MP Quad Camera on a phone. From what we can tell this could be a Realme 64MP camera phone demo.
Realme 64MP camera phone demo or Realme 5 launch?
That’s not the only thing which hints that. Sheth has changed his Twitter name to Madhav ‘5’ Quad, ahead of the event. It is worth noting he did something similar before the launch of the Realme X. So, it is possible that the Realme 5 with a 64MP camera could debut tomorrow.
And to cap it all, he even posted a teaser image of the quad camera phone. The image shows three devices with 4 cameras on the back panel. The device’s design is hidden by a back panel etched with the words “Dare to Leap”. The phone could be available in 3 colours: Blue, Indigo (Dark/Navy Blue?) and White.
For now all we can tell is that Realme will be the first OEM to show off the 64MP camera on a working phone.
