Realme unveiled its primary mid-rangers, the Realme 8 and the Realme 8 Pro recently in India. But the company is already poised to launch a new device in the series, this time a 5G capable handset.
A teaser page for the Realme 8 5G has appeared on Flipkart. This is not Realme’s first foray into the world of 5G. That honour belongs to the Realme X50 Pro 5G. The company has launched three other 5G devices in India, including the Realme X7 Pro 5G, Realme X7 5G, and the Realme Narzo 30 Pro 5G.
Circling back to the Realme 8 5G, the teaser images reveal a key spec of the device. They say that the phone will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 700 5G processor. The octa-core chipset has a clock speed of up to 2.2GHz, and the graphics are handled by an ARM Mali-G57 GPU.
The promo images claim that the 7nm SoC is 28% more efficient than 8nm chipsets. In terms of connectivity, more specifically the network speeds, we could see up to 2.34GBps downloads at a latency of less than 10 ms.
