The Realme 8 and Realme 8 Pro have been announced globally, and in India. Let’s find out more about these new mid-range phones.
The Realme 8 Pro is equipped with a 6.4-inches Full HD+ Super AMOLED display, with 180Hz Touch Sampling Rate. While it has an In-display fingerprint scanner, the device has a 60Hz Refresh rate.
The device runs on Realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11, and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G octa-core processor with an Adreno 618 GPU. The phone has 6GB/8GB of LPDDR4x RAM, 128GB UFS 2.1 + dedicated microSD card slot.
The battery on the Realme 8 Pro is a 4500mAh cell and it supports 50W SuperDart Fast Charging over a USB Type-C Port. But, for some reason Realme has included a 65W fast charger in the box.
Coming to the optics, the Realme 8 Pro boasts a 108MP primary lens with a Samsung ISOCELL HM2 sensor, 1/1.52″ sensor size, an f/1.88 aperture, an 8MP Ultra-wide angle lens, 119° FOV, an f/2.25 aperture, a 2MP Macro lens with 4cm focus, an f/2.4 aperture + a 2MP B & W lens, also with an f/2.4 aperture, and an LED Flash.
The selfie camera on the phone is a 16MP snapper with an f/2.45 aperture, and a Sony IMX 471 sensor.
Realme says that the Illuminating Yellow variant has a special fluorescent material around the camera bump and the Dare to Leap logo, to make it glow in the dark.
