The Realme 8 series is debuting about a week from now, but it appears that the brand has already sent out review units out to the media. And a popular Tech YouTuber, TechSpurt, has published a Realme 8 Pro unboxing video. The reviewer says that the device is still under embargo, and that he could talk about and show some aspects of the phone.
So, here are some of the Realme 8 Pro specs we could gather from the video. The device has a flat-display with a punch-hole selfie camera in the top left corner. The phone has a noticeable chin bezel. The screen supports always-on display, which means it is an AMOLED panel.
Moving to the back panel, the Realme 8 Pro has a plastic cover with a textured pattern, and a disappointingly massive “Dare to Leap” branding. There is a square camera bump in the top left corner of the back, with symmetrical lenses, an LED flash, and of course a 108MP primary sensor, which as expected is a Samsung HM2 sensor. The device will be available in 3 colours: Infinite Blue, Infinite Black, and an Illuminating Yellow which will glow in the dark.
The Realme 8 Pro runs on Realme UI 2.0 with Android 11. We can see a USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm headphone jack at the bottom of the phone.
