We had the first look at Realme’s upcoming flagship, when leaked renders surfaced online. Now, we have the Realme GT2 Pro launch date.
The brand’s CEO, Sky Li, took to Twitter to announce the Realme GT2 Pro launch date. The device is set to debut on December 20th, via a live stream that is scheduled for 9AM UTC.
We know a few things about the phone, thanks to the previous leak. For starters, the Realme GT2 Pro is powered by the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor that was unveiled recently. The handset will feature an under-display selfie camera with a 32 megapixels sensor. What is going to turn heads, however, is the rear panel’s design of the phone. It has a camera bulge akin to the Google Nexus 6P.
The lens array comprises a 50 megapixels primary sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide angle lens, and an 8MP telephoto lens. It is also home to a Dual LED Flash module.
The Realme GT2 Pro is said to support 125W fast charging, has up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 Storage, and 12 GB of LPDRR5 RAM. Rumours on the internet claim that the phone will run Android 12 out of the box, with Realme UI 3.0. It is equipped with a 120Hz refresh rate display. The screen is reportedly a 6.51-inches WQHD+ AMOLED panel. The phone will support 5G mobile networks.
