Yesterday we reported that Realme would be launching a new series called Narzo, in India. Today the company has confirmed when the devices would make their debut, they will be launched on March 26th.
A micro-site on the official website has a few teaser images of the devices. That’s devices in the plural, meet the Narzo 10 and Narzo 10A. These are the phones that the brand will announce next.
The Narzo 10 appears to be the higher end variant of the two phones, and has a glass back with a gradient pattern. The Narzo 10A seems to sport a plain back which looks glossy.
The Realme Narzo 10 has a quad camera set up with a 48MP primary lens. The Realme Narzo 10A on the other hand has triple cameras, with an f/1.8 AI lens. These camera samples confirm the same.
The Realme Narzo 10 will be equipped with a 6.5-inch display with an 89.8% screen to body ratio. That’s due to the waterdrop notch at the top which houses the selfie camera. The chin bezel is quite noticeable, which gives us the impression that these could be budget oriented devices.
Notice that it doesn’t say AMOLED in the teaser? It is likely an LCD panel, and since the phone doesn’t have a rear placed fingerprint scanner, it could sport a side-mounted sensor.
Another important spec that has been confirmed through the teasers is the fact that the Realme Narzo 10 will be backed by a 5,000 mAh battery. The cell supports Quick Charge though the wattage hasn’t been revealed.
Also visible in the picture is a 3.5mm headphone jack, 2 primary microphones, and a lone speaker grille. The boxy look of the charging cable does raise the question, whether the phone has a micro-USB port, but we can say that for sure.
Realme Narzo 10 Specs
- Display: 6.5-inches, 89.8% screen to body ratio, water-drop notch
- Cameras: 48MP AI, LED Flash
- Battery: 5000 mAh, Quick Charge
- Connectivity: 3.5mm headphone jack
Realme says that the Narzo 10 will be powered by a Class A processor, which is the latest and is the first Indian phone to come with it. This pretty much rules out the Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G, 730G, 865, as well as the MediaTek Helio G90T, G80, and G70. Could it be the MediaTek Dimensity 800 ? We will have to wait for more teasers to confirm that.
