Realme Narzo 50A and Narzo 50i launched in India

Realme has launched two phones in the Narzo series in India. These are the Realme NarzoA and Narzo 50i

The Realme Narzo 50A sports a 6.5-inches LCD display with a screen resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels, an 88.7% Screen-to-body Ratio, and 570 nits brightness. The device runs on realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11, and is powered by a MediaTek Helio G85 octa-core processor, and the 12nm process CPU is clocked at 2.0GHz. The graphics are handled by an ARM Mali-G52 GPU, and the phone has 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM, with 64GB/128GB of on-board storage, and up to 256GB of expandable memory via a dedicated microSD card slot The handset supports 4G VoLTE via Dual Nao SIM cards that is part of the triple card tray, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5, GPS/AGPS/Beidou/Glonass/Galileo, and has a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The main camera on the Narzo 50A is a 50 megapixels f/1.8 aperture lens, while the other sensors in the triple camera array include a 2MP Macro Lens, with 4cm focus, an f/2.4 aperture, a 2MP Portrait Lens with an f/2.4 aperture, and an LED Flash. The selfie lens on the front is an 8MP f/2.0 aperture lens.

The device is backed by a 6000mAh battery that charges over a USB Type-C port and supports 18W Fast Charging and Reverse Charging. The Narzo 50A weighs 207g, and measures 164.5 x 75.9 x 9.6mm. It will be available in 2 colourways: Oxygen Green and Oxygen Blue. The phone has a rather odd placement for the fingerprint scanner, it is looked just below the cameras, and appears way too high to reach comfortably.

Realme Narzo 50i

Realme Narzo 50i Mint Green

The Narzo 50i has a similar screen as the 50A, except that the display only supports up to 400 nits brightness. The phone runs on realme UI Go Edition based on Android 11, and is powered by a 1.6GHz Unisoc 9863 octa-core processor with an IMG 8322 for the graphics. The device will be available with 2GB/4GB of LPDDR4X RAM, with 32GB/64GB  of storage and supports up to 256GB of additional storage via a dedicated microSD card slot.

In the connectivity department, the device supports 4G VoLTE Dual Nao SIM (Triple card tray), Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS/AGPS/Beidou/Glonass/Galileo,  and comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack. The single rear camera on the Realme Narzo 50i is an 8 megapixels sensor with an f/2.0 aperture, and an LED Flash. The front snapper is a 5MP f/2.2 aperture lens.

The battery on the phone is a 5000mAh cell that charges over a micro USB port and supports Reverse Charging. The device is quite hefty at 195g, and sums up to 165.2 x 76.4 x 8.9mm. It will be available in 2 colourways: Mint Green and Carbon Black. The Realme Narzo 50i does not have a fingerprint reader.

Realme Narzo 50A and Narzo 50i price

Realme has priced the Narzo 50A at Rs. 11,499 for the 64GB variant, while the 128Gb model costs Rs. 12,499. The Narzo 50i price starts at Rs. 7,499 for the 2GB/32GB version, while the 4GB/64GB option costs Rs. 8,499. The devices will be available for purchase from October 7th on Flipkart, Realme.com and retail stores.
