Realme says that the Realme Narzo 50A Prime charger will not be shipped in the box
Realme took to its Community portal to state that it is targeting net-zero carbon emissions by 2025. The announcement, spotted by NDTV, says that and that as part of this initiative, the Realme Narzo 50A Prime charger will not be included in the box.
This is a good eco-friendly move from Realme, or is it? The company has launched 8 different phones so far in 2022, that’s 8 phones in just three months in India, with another couple set to be announced this week in the Country. This is hypocrisy at its best. If you want to save the planet, you should stop announcing so many phone models, most of which require a ton of plastic to manufacture, and also switch to recyclable or biodegradable boxes for the devices.
Not including a charger in the box for the sake of going green is an outright lie, just to sell it separately and increase its profits. Samsung has started doing this with some its phones, including the Galaxy M33 that was launched recently.
