Realme has announced the 2nd iteration of its custom Android skin. Say hello to Realme UI 2.0 update based on Android 11.

Global Themes
Like theming your phone? Realme UI 2.0 Update has 5 Global Colour Schemes to choose from. And you can set a custom accent colour for the interface from 10 single colours.
Always on Display
Realme UI 2.0 adds 5 Themes to Always on Display including an option to create your own custom pattern. The other options include a digital clock, analog clock, text and image, and text only.
Dark Mode
There are 3 styles of Dark Mode to choose from- Enhanced, Medium, Gentle. The option will automatically adjust the contrast intelligently (adaptive) based on Ambient Light, to dim the screen.
Font, Icon Customizations and Homescreen
Realme UI 2.0 supports third party icon packs, and font customizations. Third-party Launchers will be able to customize the homescreen in Realme UI 2.0.
Privacy and Security
Realme UI 2.0 update brings improved privacy and security controls for Realme devices. It consists of three main modules which the company terms as the Deep Sea Privacy Plan.
Invisible Door is a personal data leakage prevention option that sends empty data, whenever an app tries to access sensitive information such as call logs, contacts, messages, events, etc. Private Space is essentially an app vault where you can hide your apps, and access them with a password.
Security Shield is a combination of several protection layers from spam call blocking, Android 11 Security Features, App Permissions, Pseudo Site Blocking and Payment Security.
Productivity and Multi-tasking
The brand claims that Realme UI. 2.0 will offer 32% better system speed, 17% frame rate stability, 23.63% app launch speed, and is 45% more efficient in utilizing system resources, thanks to several optimizations in the OS.
Realme UI 2.0 brings Android 11’s features including a new Notification Bar. The OS also supports quick audio output switching, Digital Well-being, Sleep Capsule (sleep tracking).
Floating Window lets you resize apps to chat while watching a video in picture-in-picture mode.
Realme UI 2.0 update based on Android 11 roll out
The first device to get the Realme UI 2.0 update will be the Realme X50 Pro. The OS will be released in Early Access on September 24th, after which an open beta will be made available at the end of October. The stable version of the update will be released at the end of November.
