The Realme UI 2.0 Update for Realme X7 Pro is rolling out to users in India. Here’s what we know about the update.
What’s new in the Realme UI 2.0 Update for Realme X7 Pro 5G
The stable release firmware is based on Android 11, and brings the June Android Security patch to the device. The update also includes a slew of new features and optimizations to the popular flagship device.
The Permission Manager offers better controls for permissions, such as “allow once only”, to prevent apps from accessing permissions when they are not running. You can use third-party icon packs to spruce up your Realme X7 Pro 5G‘s home screen. It has three dark modes to choose from: Enhanced, medium and gentle. The launcher allows you to combine folders, and the app drawer has a filter to display apps by name.
The Realme UI 2.0 Update for Realme X7 Pro has improved the camera app too, it now supports inertial zoom for video capture, and a level and grid feature for composing videos. It is now easier to share a wireless hotspot, with the new QR code feature.
Cloud Sync has been added to the Private Safe, for storing photos on the cloud. The HeyTap Cloud app can be used to backup your photos, videos, documents, etc., to the cloud, and restore the content when you switch to a new phone. Accessibility users can use the Sound Amplifier option to amplify sounds that are faint, and soften audio that is loud.

Realme’s official announcement states that the update is being rolled out in a staged manner, and will be available for all users over the coming days.
