A new teaser for Realme’s upcoming flagship has been posted by the company’s official Weibo account. It confirms the rumours about the Realme X In-display fingerprint scanner.
The photo shows a giant version of the phone in a poster, with an icon for the fingerprint sensor, and a girl trying to activate it.
Realme X In-display fingerprint scanner or rear-placed scanner?
We have seen some leaks of the phone in the past, but there hasn’t been an official confirmation about the sensor until now. This does raise the question, about the rear facing fingerprint scanner which we saw yesterday in the TENAA listing.
The only explanation we can think of regarding the Realme X In-display fingerprint scanner, is that there may be more than one variant of the phone, with the basic variant sporting a rear placed sensor.
Another teaser confirms that the Realme X will support VOOC flash charging. Here is a recap of what we know about the phone so far.
