The Realme X October Update has been released. So, what’s new in this update?
Realme X October Update – Change log
The version number of the Realme X October Update is RMX1901EX_11.A.08. Realme has brought a few features that it added to the Realme 3 Pro a few weeks ago, to the Realme X. The phone now supports manual locking by long pressing the power button. The data consumption of devices connected to the hotspot is now displayed, and you have a customizable data consumption reminder as well.
You can view the screen on time from the settings. Digital Wellbeing is now officially available on the Realme X. The launcher now supports a date and weather widget, and the Smart Assistant interface has been optimized.
The Notification Center has been revamped, while the Status Bar now supports dismissing message prompts with a swipe gesture. The Realme X will now consume less power. And the issue with WhatsApp video calls where the camera would pop-up when receiving a call, has been resolved as well.
Sadly, the company has only included the September Android security patch, and not the October one.
The Realme X October Update is being seeded currently and should reach all users soon. If you can’t wait for it, you can manually download the update which weighs about 2.77GB, from the official website.
