Realme has announced when it will be announcing its next phone in China. The Realme X7 is all set to be launched on September 1st.
Why Realme X7? We don’t know the reason, but we aren’t surprised because, the company went from Realme X to the Realme X2, and then to Realme X50 and then back to Realme X3. So, we aren’t really expecting the brand to use a logical pattern in its nomenclature.
The Realme X7 will be company’s first AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. Yes, the company already has a couple of devices (Realme X3 and X3 Superzoom) with 120Hz refresh rate, but those are LCD screens.
If you observe the Realme X7 launch teaser poster closely, it mentions 5G at the bottom, so we can tell that the device will support 5G mobile networks. Another teaser image reveals the design of the phone’s screen, it will have a punch-hole cutout in the top left corner of the display.
Realme has focused on fast charging as one of the key features for the X series, so it is possible we may see 65W or even 125W fast charging support for the phone. Given that the device has an AMOLED display, it is likely to be equipped with an in-display fingerprint scanner, and could be powered by a Qualcomm snapdragon 865 processor. We’ll have to wait for the official announcement to see if our expectations are correct.
