A Realme XT teaser image has been shared by the company’s CMO, on Weibo. It reveals the quad camera design of the phone.
During the recent launch event of the Realme 5 and Realme 5 Pro in India, the company’s CEO Madhav Sheth confirmed the Realme X will be succeeded by the Realme XT. He also confirmed that the device will be launched in India, at the end of September. The Realme XT could be launched in China much earlier, as soon as September 4, according to a teaser poster.
But there is a possibility of a new series launch. The fact that the letter Q has been torn off the card, and the piece is face down in the picture, hints at a possible Realme Q phone. Or is it a hint about something related to Android Q, which is now offiicially Android 10 ?
Realme XT teaser
Back to the news at hand, the message which accompanied the Realme XT teaser photo confirms that the device will feature a 64MP primary camera. We have already reported that Realme will be using the Samsung ISOCELL bright GW1 sensor for an upcoming phone. If the camera setup is similar to the Realme 5, we can expect the Realme XT to feature a super wide-angle lens, a depth sensor, and a super macro lens.
The Realme XT teaser image shows a Silver White variant which has a gradient design. The absence of a fingerprint scanner on the back panel, and the fact that its predecessor has an in-display fingerprint scanner, all but confirms the same for the new phone. It could also feature a notch-less design with a pop-up selfie camera like the Realme X.
