Xiaomi is set to unveil a new entry-level phone in India. The device is called the Redmi 10A. Though the promo page doesn’t tell us much, the phone was launched in China recently, so here’s a recap of what we can expect from it.
The 4G mobile is powered by a MediaTek Helio G25 octa-core processor, with a 6.53-inches HD+ IPS LCD display and a water-drop notch. A 5MP selfie camera is housed in the notch. The Redmi 10A has 4GB/6GB of RAM, 64GB/128GB of storage, and has a microSD card slot.
The phone runs on MIUI 12.5 based on Android 11, and is backed by a 5000mAh battery, that supports 10W charging via a micro USB port. The Redmi 10A features a single camera on the rear panel, the sensor is a 13MP lens and is accompanied by an LED Flash. The large camera bump has a fingerprint scanner and some decorative lenses. The affordable handset supports 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 2.4GHz, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, AGPS, Glonass, Beidou. It has a 3.5mm headphone jack for audio playback.
The Redmi 10A weighs 194g, and measures 164.9 x 77 x 9.0mm. It could be available in 3 colour options: Black, Silver, Blue.

Rumours indicate that the Redmi 10A could be priced below Rs. 10,000 in India, which would make it more affordable than the Redmi 10 that was announced recently.
