The Redmi Note 10 India launch is not far away. The company took to Twitter to tease a message about the phone with the #SM10THChallenge. The hashtag is a play on the words SMOOTH and 10, to make SM10TH.
The Xiaomi-subsidiary shared a rather bizzare “dance” video, which hints that something’s coming up. The video mentions that 2020 was the year of the 9, and 2021 will be about the 10, as in the Redmi Note 10.
According to a recent leak, there will be two devices in the Redmi Note 10 series; the Note 10 and the Note 10 Pro. The latter is said to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G processor and run MIUI 12 with Android 11 out of the box. The Note 10 Pro will feature a 120Hz screen, though it is likely an IPS LCD display. The main camera on the phone is a 64MP lens.
Another variant of the phone reportedly supports 5G mobile networks, and is expected to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G chipset.
There is no word yet about the Redmi Note 10 India launch date, though the Tweet suggests that some Note-tastic news is dropping tomorrow.
Rumours suggest that the Redmi Note 10 series will be priced aggressively in India, mainly due to the fact that its predecessors, the Redmi Note 9 series did not perform adequately in terms of sales expectations. This could also be a move to compete with bitter rival Realme.
