Redmi is all set to bring a new phone next week to India. But out of the blue, it appears that another device will debut on the same day, as the Redmi Note 11 launch has been confirmed.
The brand’s Chief, and Global VP of Xiaomi, Manu Jain, tweeted a teaser that shows off the device’s design.

Redmi will unveil the Note 11 alongside the Note 11S on February 9th in India.

Thanks to a prior leak, we know what to expect from the upcoming mid-ranger. The device sports a 6.5-inches Full HD+ LCD screen with a 90Hz refresh rate. It is expected to run on MIUI 12.5 based on Android 11, but Xiaomi has teased the launch of MIUI 13 as well. The Nore 11 is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G88 processor with a Mali-G52 MC2 GPU. It is said to have 4GB/6GB LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB/128GB of storage. The 4G handset is backed by a 5000mAh, that supports 18W fast charging over a USB Type-C port.
The Redmi Note 11 features an 8MP f/2.0 selfie camera, a 50 megapixels f/1.8 main camera on the rear along with an 8MP ultra-wide angle, f/2.0 aperture lens, a 2 MP macro sensor with an f/2.4 aperture, and an LED Flash. The device has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication.
