Xiaomi has announced that it will be selling the Redmi Note 4G without registration this weekend.
The special sale is being held to celebrate the Republic Day.
The announcement was made on the Twitter and Facebook pages of Mi India. However, no information regarding the number of units available or the time when the sale begins, were shared by the company.
Though their phones have been a success, the company has been drawing flak for the flash sales, which take place every Tuesday at 2 PM on Flipkart. Many fans have voiced their frustration against the system, since the phones get sold out in a matter of seconds, due to a huge demand, and the limited number of units available for purchase. This open sale should calm the nerves of the fans who have been waiting impatiently to buy the Note 4G.
However, this is not the first open sale from Xiaomi, they previously sold the Redmi 1S without registrations on December 8th, 2014.
