Xiaomi’s next budget phone may have what many phones this year have. That’s right, the Redmi Note 6 notch display design has been leaked.
The picture you see here is of the replacement display panel for the device. It has been listed on Chinese e-tailer website, AliExpress, ahead of the device’s launch.
The Redmi Note 6 notch display is something worth noting. It seems to be much smaller than the Poco F1, which is suprising. But unlike the new brand’s phone, the Note 6 doesn’t seem to feature an infra-red sensor. It only has an earpiece, a selfie lens and a proximity sensor, which explains why the notch is smaller.
According to the leak (spotted by Globe Mobiles), the Redmi Note 6 notch display has a 6.18-inch screen. The phone could allegedly pack in a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor, with 3GB/4GB of RAM. In terms of storage the phone could be available in 32GB/64GB variants. Rumours indicate that the phone could have a 3.5mm headphone jack, but may follow the design of the Redmi 6 with a micro USB port, which is a terrible idea.
When will the Redmi Note 6 be launched, is a mystery. But we think that the launch date may not be very far away, considering that the Redmi 6 and Redmi 6A were announced recently.
