Manu Jain, the Head of Mi India, has confirmed that the Xiaomi Redmi Note will be launching in India next month.
The 5.5″ Dual SIM phablet packs some serious hardware, and could sell like hot cakes in the Country.
Jain spoke to Tech2, and confirmed the news, just 5 days after the Company’s VP Hugo Barra, had announced that the Redmi Note is heading to India.
Jain also confirmed that the company would be setting up it’s own e-commerce store in the Country soon. This isn’t new, since he had previously revealed the same plan a few months ago. If they stick to their plan, it is possible that they set up their HQ in Bangalore in about six months, where they also intend to build an Mi Home, which would function as a service center and showroom.

For now we can expect them to launch the Note exclusively on Flipkart, through their infamous famous sales. The Redmi Note will retail at Rs. 9,999, as displayed at their website, but given their history with the Redmi 1S, there is a possibility that it could sell for an even lesser amount. And with December just around the corner, maybe it is time for a Christmas miracle.
